Protonix Information
Protonix is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) drug that is commonly used for the treatment of esophagus ulceration and erosion, which is associated with gastroesophageal reflux disease. The drug works by decreasing the amount of acid produced in a patient's stomach, thus helping prevent medical conditions involving excessive stomach acid production.
